The conventional method of cleaning optical plug ferrule end-faces is worker-skill dependent, and generally requires use of alcohol and wiping tissue or Freon gas. However, Net Optics' connector cleaner Kit replaces the conventional cleaning method and its inconsistent results with a quick and reliable operation that does not require use of cleaning alcohol or of Freon gas, and which yields completely uniform results. One tape of CLETOP cleaning cloth may be used for over 400 cleanings. Additional replacement CLETOP tapes are available and allow continued use of the CLETOP outer case.
